El món físic potser si que està escrit en llenguatge matemàtic, però la filosofia està dins el món metafísic. Per tant, per mi són dues parts del món ben diferenciades. La percepció, la humanitat, d'on venim i a on anem són preguntes que es formulen desde abans de la Grècia antiga i que no es poden respondre mitjançant les matemàtiques. I clarament jo puc estudiar filosofia sense estudiar matemàtiques i puc entendre el món des d'una altre perspectiva que no implica matemàtiques. La cita és molt maca, i Galilei un gran home ^_^

Encara que parli de filosofia, es refereix a l'univers i les lleis de la natura, és a dir, a la física experimental. Galileu va ser un pioner a l'hora de descriure matemàticament la física.
